Fun book. This was a mix of many types of stories. As expected, this was slanted toward Asimov's style with future and tech, notwithstanding again, the stories were quite varied in both type and length. Interestingly, the terminal story (and longest) was by several authors including Asimov.

These stories often begin with fragmented parts that come up together throughout the story. So you lot will need to comprehend periods of confusion as the seemingly asunder pieces are laid out. They do come together through the story though.

My favorite aspect is the unique thoughts behind the stories, which can include perspectives, fourth dimension, sizes, misunderstandings, etc. These made it very fun for me.

This book is a drove of short sci-fi books, the stories at the start really drew me in with the different aspects near what the time to come of humanity could be like, but stories toward the stop start to get a bit boring. Yous would like this book if you lot enjoy sci-fi books. One theme from the brusque story about the journey around the sun is yous should always double bank check earlier you make an assumption.

While the stories are quintessential early Asimov, the typos are then frequent as to exist tota!ly distracting. I've never read a worse kindle book!

Professor Asimov is mostly considered i of the nigh prolific writers of all fourth dimension, having written or edited more than 500 books and an estimated ninety,000 letters and postcards. He has works published in nine of the x major categories of the Dewey Decimal System (lacking merely an entry in the 100s category of Philosophy).

Asimov is widely considered a master of the science-fiction genre and, forth with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke, was considered one of the "Large Three" scientific discipline-fiction writers during his lifetime. Asimov's most famous work is the Foundation Series; his other major series are the Galactic Empire series and the Robot series, both of which he later tied into the same fictional universe equally the Foundation Series to create a unified "future history" for his stories much like those pioneered by Robert A. Heinlein and previously produced by Cordwainer Smith and Poul Anderson.
